Bumblebees

By smallgarden7

I have a cotoneaster in my garden which I really don’t like. In fact I want to pull it out and replace it with Holly. However last year I found out there was a decline in the bumblebee population in the UK and having noticed a lot of buzzing around the cotoneaster I realised I have a garden full of bumblebees.

Stirling University has a national bee survey and more information about the bees here:The Bumblebee Conservation Trust

The bees in my garden fly around the cotoneaster too quickly but hopefully I will be able to take a photos when the lavender, fuchsias, poppies and lilies come out.
