Spring has come early again.
My snowdrops, crocuses and irises have been out since the beginning of the month. Finally my daffodils have bloomed. Unfortunately some damn creature has taken it into their head to bend the stems so they are flowering in different directions.
The only issue I have with this warm weather is that the weeds are growing.
Last week I had to do a bit of weeding. I discovered some ground elder growing up part of the wall. I have ripped it out but now I’ve decided to use weed killer in on the fence between mine and my neighbour’s garden. I overheard the neighbour stating that she wasn’t allowed to touch the weeds but I don’t understand why as most of the other people who rent maintain their patches.
